Limited Edition Drops Discovery Kit | Choose Your Drops
Some Drops are familiar woodland residents. Others appear only briefly, in unusual colours, curious textures and very small numbers.
The Limited Edition Drops Discovery Kit contains everything you need to knit the Drops species of your choice, apart from your knitting needles and basic sewing tools.

Water Drops 🌊
Droplus aquaticus
A curious little Drop most often found beside streams, puddles and rock pools. Water Drops are happiest wherever there’s a little splash, ripple or rain nearby.
Yarn: Worsted–Aran weight
Fibre: 70% Highland Peruvian Wool / 30% Alpaca
Needles: 4mm DPNs
Dreamy Drops ☁️💜
Droplus somnium
Soft, sleepy and wonderfully fluffy, Dreamy Drops are made from a fuller, cloud-like yarn that gives them a slightly bigger, squishier shape than other Drops. Perfectly suited to afternoon naps, slow mornings and generally doing very little at all
Yarn: Worsted–Aran weight
Fibre: 87% Superfine Alpaca, 13% Peruvian Pima Cotton
Needles: 4mm DPNs
Each Discovery Kit contains:
A printed copy of the complete Drops Handbook
Yarn to make your chosen Drops
Stuffing
Eyes and thread for creating the face
Coordinating ribbon
A stitch marker
Some extra field supplies for your Drops.
Field Supplies are just an example of what you will receive, they do vary so you get a nice surprise.
The Drops Handbook contains the full knitting pattern, assembly guidance, yarn suggestions and information about the known Drops species. It can be used again whenever you discover another Drops you would like to make.
Each limited edition has its own yarn, colours, texture and field supplies, so prices may vary slightly between species.
These kits are created in very small batches. Once a discovery disappears, it may return another day, or it may wander back into the undergrowth and never be seen again.
The finished Drops pictured are not included in the kits it’s just showing you what species of Drop you can make.
Please note that knitting needles are not included. Drops are knitted in the round using double-pointed needles, with simple increases and decreases. Check the photographs and individual kit information for the recommended needle size for your chosen species.
