Discovered at the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, where the last light lingers in the sky after the fields have gone dark. Dreamy Drops are rarely seen in a hurry. This one was found sitting quite still, watching the moon rise.
Temperament
Quiet, curious and a little absent minded. May seem to be miles away, but usually notices far more than you think.
Drawn to humans who
Have too many ideas at bedtime, stare out of windows and sometimes need permission to stop doing things for the day.
Known for
Keeping company during slow evenings, wandering thoughts and those lovely moments when an idea arrives out of nowhere.
Likes
Soft blankets, half finished notebooks, lamplight, looking at the moon and being read to, even if the book is meant for someone else.
Dislikes
Alarm clocks, bright overhead lights and being told to ‘just go to sleep.’
This particular Dreamy Drop is especially plump and firmly stuffed, with a soft, round belly and the unmistakable air of someone who has eaten all the biscuits and is keeping the good dreams for later. Around his neck he wears a lilac ribbon, a tiny bell and a green aventurine crystal, which he seems rather proud of.
