This colourway blends the saturated joy of the OG Rainbow with the painterly softness of Watercolours. Bright hues, pastels and bold, are layered and softened with delicate washes and subtle blends, like a rainbow glimpsed through rain. Each skein is unique, full of shifting tones and unexpected details that make every stitch a surprise. Playful, expressive, and full of colour 🌈

This colourway is intentionally bold, expressive, and full of variation. If you prefer very even dyeing and want every skein to look exactly the same, this may not be the right colourway for you. My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches, colours may vary from skein to skein - please see product images for a variety of dye lots.
No two skeins will be exactly the same, that is the beauty of hand dyed yarn. I recommend alternating skeins when using them so they blend nicely.
Gentle hand washing in warm water, some colour may run slightly in the first wash so be wary what you wash it with.

This colour way was originally released as OG Rainbow x Watercolours, a limited edition experimental colourway, this yarn has since evolved into Paintbox: a brighter, more saturated version now dyed on superwash merino for vivid pops of colour and a rich painterly feel.
