The OG Rainbow is a bold celebration of colour in its purest form: a joyful paintbox of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink, with rich hues and playful transitions that carry a little of that unmistakable 90s magic and childhood nostalgia.
It is made for statement knits, dopamine projects and adding a great big hit of happiness to your yarn stash.
I treat every skein like its own tiny canvas, placing and blending the colours individually by hand. This means no two skeins will ever be exactly the same. Some emerge brighter, deeper or softer, while others are more wildly splashed, but every skein contains the full colour and spirit of the OG Rainbow.
The photographs show examples of this colourway rather than the exact skein you will receive. Please look through all the images to see the beautiful variation you can expect. Your yarn will be unmistakably OG Rainbow, but it will also be entirely its own.
If you are using more than one skein in the same garment, I recommend alternating between two skeins every few rows. This allows the colours to mingle naturally and helps prevent the individual character of each skein from creating visible blocks - although this can result in a really cool tie dye look so it depends on your own individual preferences.
Small variations are part of the beauty of hand-dyed yarn and what makes every finished piece completely unique.
Gentle hand washing in warm water with wool wash is recommended
The hank is best wound into a ball before use.
Some OG Rainbow skeins may already be dyed and ready to dispatch. Otherwise, your yarn will be dyed individually to order. Please allow up to six weeks, although I will always send it sooner whenever possible
